Rishi Negi stated, “Salman’s contract is directly with JioCinema, so I don’t know the exact figures. But whatever the amount, there’s no doubt he deserves a high remuneration.”
According to the producer, Salman remains impartial toward contestants on the show. He closely observes every development inside the house and personally reviews key moments before the weekend episodes to form his opinions. Negi said, “Salman takes a keen interest in what happens inside the house. As producers, we provide our perspective and consider audience reactions, and together we shape the weekend episodes.”
Negi also addressed rumors about Salman reading lines via earpiece, calling them completely false. “Salman cannot say anything unless he believes it himself. His reactions are genuine, not scripted or staged.”
On Salman’s future with the show, Negi mentioned, “Before every new season, we have detailed discussions with Salman about the show’s structure, broadcasting plans, everything. Some time ago, he mentioned he might not continue, but now he has an emotional connection with the show. His stage presence, interactions with contestants—all of it is his own.”
Salman has been hosting Bigg Boss since its fourth season in 2004. His humor, candid remarks, and sincere involvement continue to make Bigg Boss 19 one of India’s most popular reality shows.
Although Salman’s remuneration has not been officially disclosed, sources suggest he previously earned around ₹100 crore. Currently, it is estimated to be approximately ₹120–140 crore. While the ₹150 crore figure is not entirely false, claims of ₹200 crore are considered exaggerated.
This report highlights that the reality of Salman Khan’s remuneration and involvement with the show differs somewhat from the various media rumors circulating about him.
