In the Rising Stars Asia Cup semifinal, Bangladesh ‘A’ team faced India ‘A’ team. The match, held on Friday in Doha, Qatar, saw India ‘A’ win the toss and choose to bowl first, sending Bangladesh ‘A’ to bat.
Bangladesh ‘A’ has delivered impressive performances throughout the tournament. In the group stage, they secured big victories over Hong Kong and Afghanistan, ensuring a place among the top four. Although they narrowly lost to Sri Lanka ‘A’ by six runs in the final group match, Akbar Ali’s team retained the top position in Group A.
From Group B, Pakistan ‘A’ and India ‘A’ advanced to the semifinals. Pakistan ‘A’ won all three group matches to top their group. Bangladesh now faces India for a spot in the final.

Fans at the Doha stadium were highly excited even before the match began, especially as Bangladesh’s young players had the opportunity to showcase their skills and mental strength in the semifinal.
