Nvidia Leads Investment in Pulsed, Plans Up to $1 Billion

Semiconductor giant Nvidia is set to invest in Pulsed, a company that develops AI models for software development. According to Bloomberg, Nvidia plans to invest at least $500 million and up to $1 billion. This investment is part of Pulsed’s $2 billion funding round, which values the company at $12 billion.

Bloomberg reports that if the remaining portion of Pulsed’s funding round is successfully completed, Nvidia’s total investment could reach $1 billion.

This is not Nvidia’s first investment in Pulsed. In October 2024, the company had already participated in Pulsed’s $500 million Series B round.

Nvidia has been investing extensively in AI startups and is now seeking to broaden its investment portfolio. For example, in October, it announced plans to invest $500 million in the UK autonomous vehicle company Wayve. Additionally, last month, Nvidia entered a $5 billion partnership with Intel to explore future chip collaboration.
