National University has published admission notifications and guidelines for first-year undergraduate (honours) students for the 2025–2026 academic year. Applicants can apply online from 23 November at 4 p.m. to 31 December at midnight through the university’s admission website.
The initial application fee is BDT 1,000, to be paid at the college by 4 January 2026. The admission test will consist of 100 MCQs, covering Humanities, Science, Business Studies, and Technical streams. Students must score at least 35 to pass. Admission lists will be prepared based on a total of 200 marks, combining 100 marks from the test with 40% of SSC GPA and 60% of HSC GPA.
Minimum Eligibility:
Humanities & Business Studies: Minimum 2.0 GPA in both SSC and HSC, with a combined GPA of 4.5.
Science & Technical: Minimum 2.25 GPA in SSC and 2.0 in HSC, with a combined GPA of 4.75.
Only students who passed SSC in 2022–2023 and HSC in 2024–2025 are eligible. Admit cards can be downloaded five days before the exam from the university website, and candidates must bring original HSC/SSC certificates to the exam center. Mobile phones or electronic devices are prohibited in the exam hall.
O-Level, A-Level, and foreign board students must apply by 31 December with relevant documents at the university’s pre-university school and pay the application fee to participate in the test. Applicants under quota categories—athletes, differently-abled, and freedom fighter dependents—must submit certified documents from relevant authorities.
