The National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE) is opening admissions for the Diploma in Primary Education (DPEd) program for the January–October 2026 session. The program duration is 10 months, and applications start on Wednesday, November 26.
The program is designed to support careers in education. Graduates will have opportunities in teaching, educational research, and national and international development organizations.
Admissions will be conducted online. Seats are allocated across 12 Primary Training Institutes (PTIs) as follows:
Dhaka PTI: 90
Chattogram: 150
Rajshahi: 120
Rangpur: 120
Sylhet: 90
Barishal: 120
Mymensingh: 150
Jashore: 120
Comilla: 120
Joydebpur: 90
Dinajpur: 120
Bogura: 120
Eligibility:
Must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
Must hold a bachelor’s or bachelor’s (honors) degree with at least second class or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or affiliated college.
No third-class division or equivalent CGPA is accepted at any stage of education.
No age limit.
Application & Exam:
Application start: November 26, 2025, 10:30 AM
Application deadline: December 19, 2025, 11:59 PM
Admission test: December 24, 2025, 11:00 AM at respective PTIs
Exam: 50 marks, multiple-choice (Bangla, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge), 50 minutes
Admission will be based on merit
Course Fee:
BDT 6,000 per semester, total BDT 12,000 for two semesters
Classes start: January 1, 2026
